2022 Sporting Clays Tournament
SATURDAY JUNE 25TH 11AM-3PM
This year the foundation is hosting a sporting clays tournament at the Capitol City Gun Club. Sporting clays is called “golf with a shotgun”. Unlike trap and skeet each station has a different target presentation which makes it very fun and challenging. There will be 4 or 5 person teams and we will try and put a retired or active-duty SEAL with each team. Each person will shoot at 50 targets.
Here is a link to the Club’s website https://www.capitolcitygunclub.org/
In addition, there will be a free one-hour Advanced Emergency First Aid course taught by a former SEAL and an Airforce veteran and paramedic.
The cost of the event is $200 per person and is a tax-deductible donation.
EQUIPMENT LIST
Shotgun-the club has guns for rent. Because only one person shoots at a time, two guns per team is fine.
50 rounds of target loads with no larger than 71/2 buckshot. The club has a limited supply of 12-gauge ammo so it would be best if you brought your own. They have plenty of 20-gauge available.
Hearing and eye protection

US Ordnance Factory Tour
The first is a once in a lifetime opportunity for four people to shoot a Browning .50 caliber machine gun from the back of a Hummer.
Afterwards the winners will tour US Ordnance, the manufacturer of thousands of automatic weapons for our military at their state-of-the-art 100,000 square foot factory in the Tahoe Regional Industrial Park just east of Sparks. The tour will include their very extensive military weapons collection.
M-16 E1 Reproduction
The second item is an exact reproduction of the M-16 E1 which was used by our soldiers in Vietnam. Colt commissioned the building of a limited number of these rifles and they have all been sold. The rifle is fully functioning except it is semi-auto only. Own a piece of history that may not be available again.
